Nonfiction Birth Stories Anthology

What happens when healthcare workers who dedicate their lives to helping their clients give birth are the ones birthing?

My nonfiction birth stories anthology provides a raw, unfiltered account of childbirth as told by labor & delivery nurses, ObGyns, and midwives as they ditch their scrubs for patient gowns and experience birth firsthand.

This project is inspired by my own journey into motherhood. We welcomed my daughter after I had been working as a L&D nurse and certified as new midwife. I felt so prepared, knowing what all can happen, but found myself transforming into the unknowing first time parent I was so used to supporting. It is inherently different when you are the one in the patient gown experiencing everything for yourself.
